Will Snohomish Slew, our legendary amphibian, see his shadow. at Groundfrog Day, the Pacific Northwest version of another fabled winter folklore? Will we indeed have 8 more weeks of soggy and wet or 8 more weeks of wet and soggy? Will our local weather forecasters, meteorologists, and weather announcers get the break they deserve - someone else to blame for the Ark building weather the Northwest is experiencing?
Flower World and the business community of Snohomish are pleased to present a frolicking Froggy good time celebrating the damper days of winter with our Pacific Northwest twist to the Ground Hog tradition. Groundfrog Day inaugural presentation of our fabled winter frogcasting wizard, Snohomish Slew and ceremony begins at Frog past 10 a.m., at the N.W. Sand and Gravel entertainment stage. There we see Slew predict if we The Froggy frogfolity includes music and family fun entertainment from Catch the Beat, hands on activities and the announcement of the winners of the Snohomish Slew coloring contests.
